Wilson named as DEP Interim Secretary

Clifford Wilson III, PE, was appointed as Interim Secretary of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection upon the retirement of Sec. Herschel Vinyard Jr. on Dec. 1, 2014.

Wilson currently serves as Deputy Secretary for Regulatory Programs at the department. Previously, he served as Assistant Deputy Secretary of Land and Recreation at DEP and Assistant Director in DEP's Northwest District Office.

Wilson is a member of the Florida Engineering Society and serves as an engineering mentor to students at Florida State University.
