The St. Johns River Water Management District Governing Board appointed Michael Register, PE, as the district’s new executive director.

Register has been with the district since 1990. During that time, he worked in environmental resource permitting, consumptive use permitting, water supply planning, engineering and environmental sciences.

Ann Shortelle, PhD, served as the district’s ED for the past six years.
