APTwater, Rochem join forces

Staff report
Enviro-Net

Two of the water industry's most advanced water technology companies have merged. APTwater Inc. and Rochem AG have joined forces to deliver reliable, clean water from some of the most challenging resources in the industry.

Europe-based Rochem deploys patented membrane modules into integrated treatment systems to clean water that would ruin ordinary membranes. Their membranes are made by Sepro Membranes Inc., a joint venture between Rochem AG and Sojitz Corp. of Japan.

California-based APTwater develops and deploys patented technology to destroy contaminants that have rendered otherwise valuable water useless--contaminants such as pharmaceutical by-products, trace organics, nitrates and hexavalent chromium.

APTwater systems are used to cleanup groundwater, surface water and at wastewater treatment plants.
