The Florida Department of Environmental Protection Northeast District and its partners are hosting the Northeast Florida Brownfields Workshop on Friday, June 12, 2013, at the University of North Florida Adam W. Herbert University Center.
In an effort to create jobs and stimulate the regional economy, the program invites developers, investors, realtors, governments, stakeholders and other interested members of the Northeast Florida community to learn about the Florida brownfields program and network with brownfield professionals.
This brownfields workshop will feature an excellent group of speakers who will share their knowledge and experience with assessing, remediating and re-developing brownfield sites. Additionally, the workshop will be an opportunity for local governments to network and present their available potential brownfield sites to investors and to discuss potential grant opportunities.
This event is free to attend.
